UPMC Horizon appoints new nutritional services director

Farrell and Greenville, PA — Alice Connelly, RD, LD, has joined UPMC Horizon as director of Nutritional Services.

A graduate of Youngstown State University, Ms. Connelly’s most recent work experience was Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) coordinator for the Robeson County Health Department in Lumberton, NC. She previously served as a dietician for Shepherd of the Valley, Boardman, Ohio, and Windsor House Incorporated, Girard, Ohio. She also worked as a weekend relief supervisor for UPMC Horizon’s Shenango Valley campus.

Ms. Connelly, who lives in Hubbard, is a registered dietician and a licensed dietician/nutritionist. Her job duties will include supervising the Nutritional Services Department — which includes dieticians and food service employees — at both the Shenango Valley and Greenville hospital campuses.
