UPMC Passavant to open multi-specialty suite at Womancare Center

Hermitage, PA — UPMC Horizon will expand its capabilities to offer specialized surgical care when UPMC Passavant opens a multi-specialty surgery suite at the Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon, located at 875 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, in 2008.

The suite will feature specialties such as surgical oncology, liver and pancreatic cancer, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and comprehensive breast care. Patients in Mercer County and surrounding areas will be able to secure local appointments with surgical specialists including:

• David Bartlett, MD, chief of the UPMC Surgical Oncology Division, specializing in surgical oncology and minimally invasive surgery

• David Geller, MD, director of the UPMC Liver Pancreas Institute and co-director of the UPMC Liver Cancer Center, specializing in surgical oncology

• Dinakar Golla, MD, assistant professor of surgery with UPMC, specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery

• Mary Beth Malay, MD, medical director of the UPMC Passavant Comprehensive Breast Center, specializing in general surgery and surgical oncology
