Doctors Pain Clinic expands pain management services to UPMC Horizon

Farrell and Greenville, PA — Three physicians from an Ohio-based pain management clinic are now offering full-time services at UPMC Horizon.

Tracy L. Neuendorf, DO; Evelyn Oteng-Bediako, MD; and Trinetta Masternick, DO, of Doctors Pain Clinic, Youngstown, recently joined UPMC Horizon’s medical staff, offering pain treatments including acupuncture, epidural injections, manipulation, therapeutic nerve blocks, and other advanced pain treatments for conditions such as arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, trauma, low back pain, migraines, and herniated discs.

Dr. Neuendorf, medical director of both UPMC Horizon’s pain management program and Doctors Pain Clinic, received his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and anesthesiology residency at Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital, during which he also completed cardiothoracic anesthesiology training at Doctors Hospital North, Columbus, Ohio, and pediatric anesthesiology training at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC Presbyterian.

He is a diplomat of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and the American Academy of Pain Management. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology with specialties in anesthesiology and pain management. Dr. Neuendorf has more than 25 years of extensive training and experience in chronic pain management.

Dr. Oteng-Bediako earned her medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School, Accra, Ghana. She completed an anesthesiology residency at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, Ky., and a pain management fellowship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Oteng-Bediako is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Masternick received her medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed residency training at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and has been practicing with Doctors Pain Clinic since 2005. She is board-certified and has a special interest in chronic pain management.

Dr. Neuendorf, Dr. Masternick, and Dr. Oteng-Bediako see patients at the Park Medical Building on Likens Lane in Farrell (adjacent to UPMC Horizon, Shenango Valley campus) and at 30 Conneaut Lake Road, Greenville (adjacent to the UPMC Horizon Wellness Center).
