Breast Care Program UPMC Horizon's Breast Care Program offers same-day results for diagnostic mammograms and the ability to schedule follow-up testing for an abnormal mammogram the same day as the procedure. The goal of the program, modeled after a standard established by Magee-Womens Hospital, is to decrease the time of uncertainty that falls between having a mammogram and receiving a diagnosis. Women who undergo mammograms at the Womancare Center or either UPMC Horizon campus will receive a report card detailing the procedure, findings, and recommendations in an easy-to-read format.
