Cardiologist joins UPMC Horizon medical staff

Farrell, PA — Diana Cantellops, MD, FACC, FACP, cardiologist, has joined UPMC Horizon’s medical staff and the UPMC Cardiovascular Institute. She will begin seeing patients Friday, Feb. 1.

Dr. Cantellops earned her medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Enrique Urena, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She completed an internal medicine residency and was named chief resident at Hospital Ramon Ruiz Arnau, Regional Hospital of Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She also completed a cardiology fellowship and was named chief fellow at Hospital Rafael Lopez Nussa, Municipal Hospital of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

A member of many professional societies including the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association, Dr. Cantellops is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine.
