Wellness
isn't complicated, says UPMC Horizon doctor
Sharon,
PA — Philip Lee, DO, internal medicine physician
with UPMC Horizon, will present “Nutrition and Fitness 101:
Dispelling the Myth that Good Health is Complicated,” at UPMC
Horizon’s Buhl Wellness Center, located at the F.H. Buhl Club
in Sharon, on Tuesday, May 6, from 7 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday,
May 17, from 9 to 10 a.m.The
program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
The constant
bombardment of information in the media about fad diets, diet supplements,
and expensive exercise equipment may lead some people to believe
that getting into good shape is too difficult. Dr. Lee’s goal
is to conquer the myths about diet and exercise and educate participants
on how they can incorporate good nutrition and physical activity
into their daily lives.
