Womancare
Center to honor women this Mother’s Day with garden
Hermitage,
PA — In celebration of Mother’s Day, the Womancare
Center of UPMC Horizon is inviting community residents to honor
women in their lives by contributing to a flower garden.
Between Thursday,
May 1, and Saturday, May 10, anyone who would like to honor a mother,
sister, aunt, grandmother, teacher, mentor, or any special woman
in their lives may drop off a flowering plant at the Womancare Center.
When dropping off your plant, be sure to tell a Womancare Center
staff member who it is you would like to honor.
The flowers
may be annuals or perennials, may be of any size or color, and must
be able to withstand direct sunlight exposure. The flowers will
be planted around the perimeter of the Womancare Center and will
be visible throughout the summer to all who pass by.
For more information about the Mother’s Day garden, call the
Womancare Center at 724-347-7700 or toll-free at 1-866-347-7700.
The Womancare
Center, affiliated with Magee-Womens Hospital, is located at 875
N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage.
